Top Gas Saving Tips

Below is the list of the very top, most successful tips to help you use less gas and therefore spend less money. Enjoy...

1. Check oil frequently. Old oil can cause your car to use more gas.
2. In the winter, check for icicles attached to your car. These seemingly small icicles when combined can add a very large amount of weight to your car.
3. Make sure tires are properly inflated at all times.
4. Check that brakes are working correctly. If your brakes are dragging or sticking they could cause significantly more work for your engine.
5. Make sure to check tire alignment. This will cause the engine to work harder and wear your tires out quicker.
6. Don't speed. Your car will get much better gas mileage at the speed limit ( in some cases ) than if you are driving faster. This will also increase your chances of getting a green light at an intersection because they are timed for motorists following the speed limit.
7. Do not use rough roads unless you have to. Your engine must use considerably more gas to drive on dirt or stone roads.
8. Do not rev your engine unnecessarily.
